Aries is the 39th biggest constellation in the night sky and is one of the 13 zodiac constellations. Its brightest star is α Arietis (A.K.A. Hamal) representing the head of the ram with it’s neighbors β Arietis and γ Arietis(A.K.A. Mesartim). It is fully visible from 90°N to 58°S and is best seen from November to December. It was once home to the vernal(spring) equinox but, due to precession, the vernal equinox has now moved through Pisces toward Aquarius.
